Alta Academy of Dance Uniform
We provide a full uniform service. This takes the hassle away from you and also saves on cost and time, thanks to the partnerships we have with UK dancewear suppliers.
We are delighted to be working with Dansez, a dancewear company producing sustainable dancewear. We are proud to be aligned with companies and brands who are doing their bit to reverse climate change and who repurpose waste into high quality dancewear. Dansez is the first dancewear producer to use ECONYL® regenerated fibre, transforming nylon waste into new clothing.
As well as leotards, tights and shoes, we have our smart Alta Academy of Dance jackets, which are perfect to wear in colder weather. We also provide matching skin tone tights and shoes and can advise on pointe shoe fittings.
Correct uniform should be worn for classes with long hair tied back off the face and appropriately styled.

Our jackets are beautifully made with soft fabric. They come in flattering female and male styles.
Please note there is a 6-8 week lead time as the jackets are made to order.

Hair, Jewellery & Nail Varnish

Hair should be neat, tidy and kept clear of the face for all Classes.
Long hair should ideally be in a Ballet Bun, which can be demonstrated by your teacher.
Short hair should be pinned neatly back either with clips or a plain headband.

For health & safety reasons, jewellery should be kept to a minimum.
Earrings (studs are acceptable), however all necklaces, rings and watches should be removed for Class.

No nail varnish is permitted. Please ensure it is removed before attending class.
